Getting There

  • Car

    From Sugarbush Resort, head south on Vermont Route 100 (Main St) for about 8 miles. Turn left onto Lincoln Gap Road, which leads you to the trailhead for Mount Abraham. Follow Lincoln Gap Road until you reach the parking area at the end of the road. There is no parking fee, but the road can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.

  • Public Transportation

    Take the Green Mountain Transit bus from Sugarbush Resort to the town of Waitsfield. From Waitsfield, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Lincoln Gap Road trailhead, as public transportation does not go directly to Mount Abraham. Expect to pay approximately $20-$30 for the taxi ride, which is about 12 miles.
