From Sugarbush Resort, head south on Vermont Route 100 toward Waitsfield. Continue for approximately 5.5 miles. Turn left onto Battleground Road (look for signs for the Phen Basin Trailhead). After about 1 mile, you will arrive at the Phen Basin Trailhead, located at 4606 Battleground Rd, Waitsfield, VT 05673. There is no parking fee at the trailhead.
