Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Upper Valley, head southeast on the US-4 E. Continue on US-4 E for about 5 miles. Take the exit for I-89 N toward Concord. Merge onto I-89 N and drive for approximately 7 miles. Take exit 18 toward NH-120 S. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto NH-120 S. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Riverside Dr. Continue for about 1 mile, and you will see the Packard Hill Covered Bridge on your right.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Packard Hill Covered Bridge using public transport, start by taking a bus from the Upper Valley area to the Lebanon Transit Center. From there, board a local bus that heads towards West Lebanon. Once you reach West Lebanon, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to Riverside Dr. Follow Riverside Dr south for about 1 mile, and the Packard Hill Covered Bridge will be on your right. Be sure to check local bus schedules for departure times and potential costs, which typically range from $1 to $3 per ride.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can ride from Upper Valley to Packard Hill Covered Bridge. Start on the local bike paths that lead towards the US-4 E. From there, follow the same directions as driving: take US-4 E, then merge onto I-89 N, and take the exit for NH-120 S. You will then cycle along Riverside Dr to the bridge. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws. This ride is about 10 miles one way, so plan accordingly.
