Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Route 2 (the main highway in Washington County). Depending on your starting location, navigate to Route 2 and head north until you reach the intersection with Route 289. Take Route 289 East and follow it until you see signs for US-7 North towards Burlington. Continue on US-7 North until you reach the town of Colchester. From there, take the exit for Route 2A towards Isle La Motte. Follow Route 2A until you reach the ferry terminal at the end of the road. Take the ferry across to Isle La Motte. Once you arrive on the island, continue on Main Street and take a left onto Quarry Road. The Isle La Motte Historical Society will be located at 24 Quarry Rd, Isle La Motte, VT 05463.
