If you are driving from Brattleboro, take I-91 North. After about 11 miles, take exit 1 for Guilford. Turn left onto Route 5 South, then in about 1.7 miles, turn right onto Old Guilford Road. Continue for about 1 mile, and you will see the entrance to Fort Dummer State Park on your left. There is no entrance fee, but parking is available.
Public Transportation
To reach Fort Dummer State Park by public transportation, take the Brattleboro-Hinsdale bus route. Disembark at the Brattleboro Transportation Center. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the park, as public transportation does not directly stop at Fort Dummer State Park.
