Car
If you're driving, start by heading east on Route 4 from the town of Killington. Continue on Route 4 for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction with Route 100 in Bridgewater. Turn left onto Route 100 and follow it for about 5 miles until you reach the town of Ludlow. Once in Ludlow, look for Buttermilk Falls Road on your right. Turn onto Buttermilk Falls Road, where you will find parking available close to the hiking area.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Green Mountain Transit bus that operates between Rutland and Ludlow. Get off at the Ludlow stop and from there, you can either walk or take a taxi to Buttermilk Falls. To reach the falls, head east on Main Street (which turns into Buttermilk Falls Road) for about 1 mile until you arrive at the hiking area.
