Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the Central Highlands, take National Route 14 towards the south until you reach Đức Trọng. From there, continue towards the Dầu Giây Interchange and merge onto the National Route 1A towards Hanoi. Follow the signs for Hanoi, and as you approach the city, look for signs directing you to Hoàn Kiếm district. The Old Quarter is located at P. Hàng Ngang, Hàng Đào, Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội 100000. Parking can be challenging in the Old Quarter, so consider using parking facilities nearby.

• Bus

  Public buses operate from the Central Highlands to Hanoi. You can catch a bus from key towns like Buôn Ma Thuột or Da Lat to the Giáp Bát Bus Station in Hanoi. The journey typically takes around 10-12 hours. From Giáp Bát, take bus number 01, 02, or 86 to Hoàn Kiếm district. Get off at the nearest stop and walk towards P. Hàng Ngang, Hàng Đào.   You can take a train from the Central Highlands to Hanoi. Board a train from the nearest station, such as in Buôn Ma Thuột, to Hanoi Railway Station. The train journey can take about 12-15 hours. Once you arrive at Hanoi Railway Station, take a taxi or a ride-hailing service directly to the Old Quarter. The fare for a taxi from the station to the Old Quarter is around 100,000 - 150,000 VND.
