• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from Buon Ma Thuot in the Central Highlands. Take Highway 14 towards the south until you reach the intersection with National Route 1A. Turn left onto National Route 1A and continue heading south for approximately 90 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating My Son Sanctuary, which is located in Duy Xuyen District, Quảng Nam. The sanctuary is situated about 2 kilometers off the main road, so follow the signs to the entrance. Note that parking is available on-site, and entrance fees may apply.

• Bus

  If you're using public transportation, you can catch a bus from Buon Ma Thuot to Da Nang. Buses run frequently and take about 5-6 hours. Once you arrive in Da Nang, take a local bus or taxi to My Son. Local buses to My Son can be found at the Da Nang bus station, or you can hire a taxi for a more direct route, which will take about 1-1.5 hours. Expect to pay around 400,000 VND for a taxi. Make sure to confirm the fare before you start your journey.

• Motorbike

  For the more adventurous, renting a motorbike is a fantastic way to reach My Son. From Buon Ma Thuot, head south on Highway 14 and then connect to National Route 1A. The ride is scenic, taking about 3-4 hours. Once you reach the Duy Xuyen District, follow signs for My Son Sanctuary. Be mindful of local traffic rules and wear a helmet. Rental costs for a motorbike can range from 100,000 to 200,000 VND per day.
