Walking
If you are in Dong Da District, start by heading towards Điện Biên Phủ Street. Look for the nearest intersection and make your way to this main road. As you walk along Điện Biên Phủ, keep an eye out for the Hanoi Flagtower, which is located at 28A Điện Biên Phủ. You will see the iconic structure rising above the surrounding area. The walk should take approximately 10-20 minutes depending on your starting point.
Cyclo
For a more traditional experience, you can hire a cyclo (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi) to take you to the Hanoi Flagtower. Simply find a cyclo driver in the Dong Da District and tell them you want to go to 28A Điện Biên Phủ, Ba Đình. The fare should be negotiated before you start, typically ranging from 30,000 to 50,000 VND depending on the distance and your negotiation skills. The ride should take about 10 minutes.
Public Bus
You can also take a public bus to reach the Hanoi Flagtower. Locate the nearest bus stop and check for bus routes heading towards Ba Đình area. Routes 14, 18, and 22 frequently pass near the Flagtower. Make sure to pay the fare, which is generally around 7,000 VND. Once you reach the nearest stop, you may have to walk a few minutes to get to the Flagtower at 28A Điện Biên Phủ.
