If you are in Dong Da District, start by heading towards the nearest major street, which is Đường Lê Duẩn. Walk north until you reach the intersection with Đường Điện Biên Phủ. At this intersection, turn left onto Đường Điện Biên Phủ. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will see the Vietnam Military History Museum (28A Điện Biên Phủ, Ba Đình, Hà Nội) on your right side. The museum is well-marked, and you can’t miss it.

From any point in Dong Da District, find the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 18 or 22, which both have stops near the Vietnam Military History Museum. Make sure to inform the bus driver of your destination. Once you reach the stop at Đường Điện Biên Phủ, get off and walk about 200 meters to the museum, which will be on your left. Bus fare typically costs around 7,000 VND.
