Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Ben Thanh Market, exit the market and head southwest on Le Loi Street. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street. Turn left onto Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street and walk for another 300 meters. You will see the Independence Palace on your right.

  • Walking

    From the Saigon Opera House, exit the building and walk east on Dong Khoi Street. Continue for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Le Duan Street. Turn left onto Le Duan Street, and after approximately 400 meters, you will arrive at the Independence Palace, located on your left.

  • Bus

    Take Bus number 30 from the nearest bus stop to your location. Make sure to get off at the Ben Thanh Market stop. From there, exit the market and head southwest on Le Loi Street for about 500 meters. Turn left onto Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, and after 300 meters, you will see the Independence Palace on your right.

  • Cyclo

    You can hire a cyclo (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi) from a nearby cyclo stand. Tell the driver you want to go to the Independence Palace. The driver will take you along the main streets, and the journey should take about 15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to specify that you want to go to 'Dinh Doc Lap' (the local name for Independence Palace).
