Walking
If you are staying in District 1, you can easily walk to the Saigon Zoo & Botanical Garden. Start from Ben Thanh Market, head east on Le Loi Street until you reach the intersection with Nguyen Hue Walking Street. Turn right onto Nguyen Hue and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the second exit onto Ton Duc Thang Street, and then turn left onto Nguyen Binh Khiem. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see the entrance to the zoo on your right.

Bus
To reach the Saigon Zoo & Botanical Garden by bus, find a nearby bus stop and take bus number 30 or 36. If you're starting from Ben Thanh Market, walk to the nearest bus stop on Le Lai Street. Board bus number 30 towards An Suong or bus number 36 towards Tan Phu. After about 15-20 minutes, get off at the bus stop near the zoo, which is just a short walk away. Follow Nguyen Binh Khiem Street towards the east, and the entrance will be on your right.

Cyclo
For a unique local experience, you can hire a cyclo (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi) to take you to the zoo. You can find cyclo drivers near tourist areas like Ben Thanh Market. Tell the driver that you want to go to 'Vườn Bách Thảo' or simply show them the address: 2 Đ. Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes, and you can enjoy the sights along the way.
