Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in District 1, you can walk to Saigon Zoo & Botanical Garden easily. Start at the Ben Thanh Market, located at Le Loi Street. Head east on Le Loi Street towards Le Lai Street then turn left onto Le Lai Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pasteur Street. Turn right onto Pasteur Street and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach Nguyen Binh Khiem Street. Turn left onto Nguyen Binh Khiem Street, and the entrance to Saigon Zoo will be on your right at number 2.

• Public Bus

  To take a public bus, locate the nearest bus stop to your current location. You can catch bus number 36 or 28, which will take you to the zoo. If you are at Ben Thanh Market, walk to the nearest bus stop on Le Loi Street. Board either bus and ride for about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the bus stop on Nguyen Binh Khiem Street. From there, the zoo entrance is just a short walk away, located at number 2.

  Cyclo is a traditional form of transport in Ho Chi Minh City. If you are in the central area, you can find a cyclo driver by the street. Agree on the fare before starting your journey. Ask the driver to take you to 'Saigon Zoo & Botanical Garden, 2 Đ. Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm, Bến Nghé, Quận 1.' The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
