Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're near the intersection of Le Van Sy and Nguyen Dinh Chieu streets in District 3, head west on Le Van Sy street toward Tran Quoc Thao street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tran Quoc Thao. Turn left onto Tran Quoc Thao. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Vo Thi Sau street. Turn right onto Vo Thi Sau, and continue walking. Soon, you will see the entrance to the Independence Palace on your left. It should take around 15-20 minutes on foot, depending on your starting point.

    You can hire a cyclo (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi) from any point in District 3. Make sure to negotiate the fare before you start your journey. A typical ride to Independence Palace will cost around 30,000 to 50,000 VND. Ask the driver to take you to 'Dinh Doc Lap' or simply say 'Independence Palace'.
