Walking
If you are located in the center of Hue, start at the Truong Tien Bridge. From there, head east towards Le Loi Street. Continue walking straight on Le Loi until you reach the intersection with Hai Ba Trung Street. Turn left onto Hai Ba Trung and continue walking until you reach the roundabout at Nguyen Hue Street. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Nguyen Hue Street and follow it until you see the entrance to the Imperial City (Hoàng Thành) on your left. Enter through the main gate of the Imperial City, and once inside, follow the signs to Thái Hòa Palace, which is located within the grounds.

Hire a cyclo (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi) from any tourist area in Hue. Tell the cyclo driver that you want to go to Thái Hòa Palace within the Imperial City. The driver will take you through the streets of Hue to the main entrance of the Imperial City. After you enter, the driver can drop you off at the entrance to Thái Hòa Palace. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting your journey.

You can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Hue. Start from your location and navigate toward Le Loi Street. Follow Le Loi until you reach Hai Ba Trung Street, then turn left.
