Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Tịnh Biên district in An Giang. From the center of Long Xuyên, take National Route 91 towards Tịnh Biên. Follow the route for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach Tịnh Biên. Once you arrive in Tịnh Biên, follow signs for Tra Su Cajuput Forest. The forest is located about 20 kilometers outside of Tịnh Biên. You will eventually turn onto a smaller road that leads directly to the parking area at the forest entrance. Parking fees may apply.
Bus
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Long Xuyên to Tịnh Biên. Buses run frequently from the Long Xuyên bus station to Tịnh Biên and take about 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Tịnh Biên, you can hire a taxi or a motorbike taxi (xe ôm) to take you the remaining 20 kilometers to Tra Su Cajuput Forest. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting the ride.
Motorbike
If you prefer a more adventurous route, consider renting a motorbike in Long Xuyên. Follow the same directions as for the car. The ride from Long Xuyên to Tịnh Biên takes about an hour, and from Tịnh Biên, continue for another 20 kilometers to reach the forest. Ensure you have a valid driver's license and wear a helmet for safety. Be prepared for some rural roads and possibly uneven terrain as you approach the forest.
Boat
While there is no direct boat service to Tra Su Cajuput Forest, you can take a boat from nearby locations on the rivers in the Mekong Delta to reach Tịnh Biên. From Tịnh Biên, you'll still need to hire a taxi or motorbike taxi to get to the forest. Check with local tour operators for boat options and prices, which can vary.
