    If you are driving, start from the city of Thanh Hoa. Head northeast on Nguyen Trai Street and merge onto National Route 1A. Continue on Route 1A for about 15 kilometers. Take the exit toward Vinh Loc District and follow the signs for Ho Citadel. The citadel is located approximately 5 kilometers from the exit. Look for parking options near the entrance.

    For public transport, take a bus from Thanh Hoa City to Vinh Loc District. Buses leave from the Thanh Hoa Bus Station. The fare is approximately 30,000 to 50,000 VND (about $1.30 to $2.20). Once you arrive at Vinh Loc, you can take a local taxi or motorbike taxi (xe ôm) for about 20,000 to 30,000 VND to reach Ho Citadel, which is about 5 kilometers away.
