If you are traveling by car, head towards Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park. From the center of Dong Hoi, take National Route 1A for about 40 kilometers towards the town of Phong Nha. Turn right onto Provincial Road 20 when you see signs for Phong Nha Cave. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Phong Nha Cave. There is a parking area available, and note that there may be a parking fee of around 10,000 VND.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Dong Hoi to Phong Nha. Buses leave from the Dong Hoi bus station frequently, and the journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Make sure to confirm the bus schedule, as it can vary. Once you arrive at Phong Nha, you may need to take a taxi or motorbike taxi to reach the cave entrance, which is about 5 kilometers from the bus stop. Taxi fares typically range from 50,000 to 100,000 VND.

After renting, follow the same route as if you were driving a car: take National Route 1A, then turn onto Provincial Road 20 towards Phong Nha Cave.
