After disembarking, you can drive or take a taxi to Cannon Fort, which is about a 25-minute drive from the ferry port.

For those using public transportation, start from Hai Phong. Take a bus from the main bus station (Bến Xe Hai Phong) to Cat Ba Island. Several bus companies operate this route, and tickets cost around 300,000 VND. The bus will take you to the ferry terminal, where you will board a ferry to Cat Ba Island (included in your bus ticket). Upon arrival at Cat Ba, you can hire a local taxi or motorbike taxi to reach Cannon Fort, which is about a 25-minute ride.

If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Hai Phong to the ferry terminal, which will cost approximately 300,000 VND. After reaching the ferry terminal, take the ferry to Cat Ba Island as mentioned previously.
