Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Ho Chi Minh City. Head northwest on Đinh Tiên Hoàng Street, then merge onto Vo Van Kiet Avenue. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with National Route 1A. Merge onto National Route 1A and follow the signs for Cu Chi. After approximately 30 km, take the exit toward Cu Chi Tunnel (Phu Hiep). Follow the signs to Cu Chi Tunnel, and you will arrive at the entrance. Parking is available on-site, and there may be a small fee.

• Bus

  To reach Cu Chi Tunnel via public transportation, take a bus from the center of Ho Chi Minh City. Bus number 13 or 94 departs from Ben Thanh Market or other major bus stations. The fare is usually around 20,000 VND. Stay on the bus for approximately 1.5 hours until you reach the Cu Chi Tunnel stop. From there, you may need to walk for about 10-15 minutes to reach the entrance. Be sure to check the schedule as the last bus back to the city is around 5 PM.

  For a quicker option, consider using a motorbike taxi service like Grab. Open the Grab app, select 'Bike', and input 'Cu Chi Tunnel' as your destination. The ride should take about 1-1.5 hours from downtown Ho Chi Minh City, and the cost ranges from 150,000 to 200,000 VND depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
