If you are driving from Hanoi or other parts of Northwest Vietnam, take National Route 6 towards Hoa Binh Province. Continue on this route until you reach the junction with National Route 1A. Merge onto National Route 1A heading south towards Da Nang. After approximately 200 kilometers, take the exit towards Quang Nam Province. Follow the signs to My Son Sanctuary, which is located about 12 kilometers from the nearest town of Duy Phu. The sanctuary is well-marked, and you will find ample parking available upon arrival.

From Hanoi, you can take a sleeper bus to Da Nang. Buses leave frequently from various bus stations in the city. The journey will take approximately 16-18 hours. Once in Da Nang, take a local bus or taxi to Hoi An, which is about 30 kilometers away. From Hoi An, you can catch a local bus or taxi to My Son Sanctuary. The bus ride from Hoi An to My Son takes about 1 hour. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance. A round-trip bus ticket from Hoi An to My Son costs around 50,000 VND.
