Travel Guide to Starfish Beach

Getting There

• Motorbike

  If you're starting from the main town of Duong Dong, rent a motorbike from one of the local rental shops. Head north on Tran Hung Dao street until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Nguyen Trung Truc street and continue straight. After about 6 km, turn right onto DT46 road. Follow this road for about 12 km until you see signs for Rach Vem. Once you reach Rach Vem, follow the local signs to Starfish Beach, which is located along the coast.

• Bicycle

  From Duong Dong, rent a bicycle and head towards Tran Hung Dao street. Continue north until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto Nguyen Trung Truc street. This route is approximately 6 km. After that, turn right onto DT46 road. The ride will be about 12 km on this road before you see signs for Rach Vem. Upon reaching Rach Vem, follow the coastal path to find Starfish Beach.

• Public Bus

  Take a local bus from Duong Dong to Rach Vem. Buses usually depart from the central bus station; check the schedule for the latest bus times. The ride may take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Rach Vem, ask locals for directions to Starfish Beach. It's a short walk from the bus stop to the beach.

• Taxi or Ride-hailing Service

  Use a local taxi service or a ride-hailing app like Grab. Input 'Rach Vem' as your destination, and the driver will take you directly to the area. The trip from Duong Dong to Starfish Beach should take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Rach Vem, the beach will be nearby; you can walk to it from where you are dropped off.
