⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sun World Hon Thom – What an Experience

Let’s start with the cable car because, seriously, WOW! The sheer engineering behind this thing is incredible. Even if you’re not a theme park person, the cable car alone is worth the trip. The views are spectacular, and you can’t help but wonder how on earth they built it! Once you arrive, welcome to the world of Sun World! And I mean EVERYTHING Sun World. They have branded absolutely everything, right down to the beer! 🍺 Thankfully, the beer wasn’t too bad either! The park was definitely busier on the day we visited, and the locker area was absolute chaos. A bit of patience and a sense of humour are definitely required here! What I did like was that the park wasn’t ridiculously spread out. Unlike some parks where you feel you’ve completed a half-marathon just getting between attractions, everything here is relatively close together. My feet were very grateful! There are some good food options, although you do need to do a little exploring to find them. The water park has some fantastic slides, and the enormous wooden roller coaster is quite a sight! Apparently, it’s a pretty awesome ride too, according to my husband. I’ll take his word for it. Someone had to stay behind and supervise! 😂 Overall, a really enjoyable day out. The cable car is an absolute highlight, the water park is great fun, and there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Would we recommend it? Definitely! Just pack your patience for the lockers, your sense of adventure for the rides, and be prepared to enter a world where even your beer belongs to Sun World! 🍻

The cable car ride itself was very fun, but the line was very long. The company was very responsive about getting the tickets for us , and emailing them to us. It was pretty seemless.

Worth a day out. Lots to do. Particularly in the water park. Looks like they’re building a new kids area. Lots of rides. Fun.
