Dinh Cau Temple: A Serene Sanctuary on Phu Quoc Island

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are staying in Duong Dong town, start by heading northwest on Tran Hung Dao Street. Continue until you reach the main traffic circle at the intersection with Nguyen Trung Truc Street. From there, take the first exit onto Nguyen Trung Truc Street. Walk straight for about 800 meters until you reach the Dinh Cau Beach area. The Dinh Cau temple is located right next to the beach, recognizable by its colorful pagoda and the iconic rock formations nearby.

• Bicycle

  For those renting a bicycle in Duong Dong, exit your accommodation and head northwest on Tran Hung Dao Street. Continue straight until you reach the traffic circle. Take the first exit onto Nguyen Trung Truc Street. Keep pedaling straight for about 800 meters until you reach Dinh Cau Beach. The temple will be on your right side adjacent to the beach. Make sure to park your bicycle safely before exploring the temple.

• Motorbike (Rental)

  If you have rented a motorbike, start from the center of Duong Dong. Head northwest on Tran Hung Dao Street, then navigate to the traffic circle at Nguyen Trung Truc Street. Take the first exit onto Nguyen Trung Truc and drive straight for approximately 800 meters. You will see Dinh Cau Beach on your right; park your motorbike in a designated area near the temple entrance.

• Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service

  If you prefer to take a taxi or use a ride-hailing app, simply input 'Dinh Cau Temple' or 'Khu phố 2, Phu Quoc' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the temple area. Upon arrival, you will find the temple adjacent to Dinh Cau Beach, where you can explore the beautiful surroundings.
