Walking

From the center of Sapa, head towards the Sapa Market. Once you reach the market, take the road leading out of town, which is Phan Xi Păng Street. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Hoàng Liên Street. Turn right onto Hoàng Liên Street and follow it for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass by beautiful rice terraces along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Cổng Trời Ô Quý Hồ. After another 2 kilometers, you will see the entrance to Cổng Trời Ô Quý Hồ on your left.
Motorbike Rental

If you're comfortable riding a motorbike, rent one from a local shop in Sapa. Start from the Sapa Town Square and head south towards Phan Xi Păng Street. Continue on Phan Xi Păng for about 1.5 kilometers, then take a right onto Hoàng Liên Street. Ride straight for about 3 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views. After 2 more kilometers, look for the entrance to Cổng Trời Ô Quý Hồ on your left. Remember to drive carefully, as the roads can be steep and winding.
