Cổng Trời Ô Quý Hồ: A Gateway to Breathtaking Landscapes

Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the center of Sapa at the Sa Pa Stone Church (Nhà Thờ Đá Sa Pa), which is a well-known landmark. From the church, head southwest on Thạch Sơn Street until you reach the intersection with Lê Văn Tám Street. Turn left onto Lê Văn Tám Street, and continue walking until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit at the roundabout onto Mường Hoa Road (Đường Mường Hoa). Continue on Mường Hoa Road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful rice terraces. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Cổng Trời Ô Quý Hồ. As the road turns into a more rural path, you will see signs indicating the direction to Cổng Trời. Follow these signs for about 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance of Cổng Trời Ô Quý Hồ.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in Sapa, particularly around the Sa Pa Stone Church. Once you have your bicycle, head southwest on Thạch Sơn Street. Turn left onto Lê Văn Tám Street and follow it to the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Mường Hoa Road. Continue cycling for about 3 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views of the rice terraces. Look for directional signs for Cổng Trời Ô Quý Hồ. After about 1 kilometer of cycling along the rural path indicated by the signs, you will arrive at the entrance of Cổng Trời Ô Quý Hồ.

• Motorbike

  If you prefer to rent a motorbike, you can do so in Sapa at one of the rental shops near the stone church. Once you have your motorbike, head towards the south on Thạch Sơn Street. Turn left onto Lê Văn Tám Street, then continue to the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Mường Hoa Road. Ride for approximately 3 kilometers, enjoying the beautiful landscape. Look out for signs for Cổng Trời Ô Quý Hồ. After about 1 kilometer of following the directional signs, you will reach the entrance to Cổng Trời Ô Quý Hồ.
