If you're traveling by car from Ho Chi Minh City, take National Route 1A (QL1A) heading south. After about 50 km, take the exit toward Cần Giờ (the sign will say Cần Giờ). Continue on the road for approximately 30 km until you reach the ferry terminal in Bình Khánh. You will need to take the ferry from Bình Khánh to Cần Giờ, which costs around 10,000 VND per person. The ferry operates from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Once you arrive in Cần Giờ, follow the signs to Long Hòa. Monkey Island is a short drive from the ferry terminal.

Public Transportation
To reach Monkey Island using public transportation, start from the center of Ho Chi Minh City. Take a bus number 20 to the Bến xe Chợ Lớn bus station. From there, transfer to bus number 90 heading towards Cần Giờ. The bus ride will take about 2 hours and costs around 25,000 VND. Once you arrive in Cần Giờ, you will need to take a taxi or a local motorbike taxi to the ferry terminal at Bình Khánh, which is about 20 km away. After reaching the ferry terminal, buy a ticket to cross the river, which costs about 10,000 VND per person. Once you arrive at Long Hòa, you can find signs directing you to Monkey Island, which is a short drive away.
