Getting There

• By Car

  If you're traveling by car from Da Nang, head south on National Route 1A. Follow the signs for Hoi An and continue for approximately 30 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating My Son Sanctuary (Thánh địa Mỹ Sơn) and turn left onto Provincial Road 613. Continue for about 12 kilometers until you reach the entrance of My Son. Parking is available nearby, and the entrance fee is around 150,000 VND per person.

• By Bus

  From Da Nang, you can take a local bus to Hoi An. Buses leave frequently from the Da Nang bus station. Upon arriving in Hoi An, you'll need to catch a taxi or a motorbike taxi (xe ôm) to My Son, which is about 40 kilometers away. The taxi ride will cost approximately 300,000 - 400,000 VND. Alternatively, you can join a guided tour from Hoi An, which typically includes transportation to and from My Son.

• By Motorbike

  For the adventurous, renting a motorbike in Hoi An is a great option. From Hoi An, take the same route as if you were driving a car. Follow National Route 1A south, then turn onto Provincial Road 613. Make sure to wear a helmet and have an international driving permit. Fuel stations are available along the way. Be prepared for a scenic ride, and the entrance fee for My Son is about 150,000 VND.

• Guided Tour

  Consider booking a guided tour from either Da Nang or Hoi An. Many tours include transportation, a knowledgeable guide, and sometimes meals. This is an ideal way to learn about the history of My Son and ensures a hassle-free experience. Prices for these tours typically range from 600,000 to 1,200,000 VND per person, depending on the inclusions.
