If you are traveling by car, start from Da Nang City. Head south on National Route 1A for about 30 km. Take the exit toward Duy Xuyen and follow the signs for My Son. The drive takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive, you will find parking available near the entrance to the My Son Sanctuary.
Public Bus
To reach My Son by public bus, take the bus from Da Nang City to Quang Nam Province. Look for the buses with signs indicating 'Hội An' or 'Duy Xuyên'. The bus ride will take about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Duy Xuyen bus station, you can hire a taxi or motorbike taxi to cover the remaining 10 km to My Son, which should cost around 50,000 VND.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Da Nang City to My Son. This option provides a comfortable and convenient way to travel, taking about 1 hour and costing between 400,000 VND to 600,000 VND depending on traffic conditions and your negotiation skills.
Motorbike Rental
For adventurous travelers, renting a motorbike in Da Nang is a great way to reach My Son. Head south on National Route 1A, and follow the same directions as if you were driving a car. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow traffic rules. The journey will take about 1 hour. Rental prices generally range from 100,000 VND to 200,000 VND per day.
