Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from Ho Chi Minh City. Take National Route 1A heading northeast towards Đồng Nai Province. After about 70 km, merge onto QL1A and continue for approximately 40 km until you reach the town of Định Quán. From Định Quán, follow local signs towards Phú Tân. The Ancient Volcano is located in Phú Tân, along the coordinates 7C52+M4J. You may need to ask locals for the exact entrance as it is a less-known site.

• Public Transportation

  From Ho Chi Minh City, head to the Eastern Bus Station (Bến Xe Miền Đông) and take a bus to Định Quán. Buses operate regularly, and the journey takes around 2-3 hours, costing approximately 100,000 VND. Once you arrive at Định Quán, you can take a local taxi or a motorbike taxi (Grab) to reach Phú Tân. Ensure to show the driver the coordinates 7C52+M4J to find the Ancient Volcano.

• Motorbike Rental

  For a more adventurous option, consider renting a motorbike in Ho Chi Minh City. Follow the same route as mentioned for cars, but this will give you the flexibility to explore the area around Định Quán. Make sure to have a valid driver's license and wear a helmet. Fuel costs will vary but expect to spend around 100,000 VND for the round trip.
