Car
If you're driving from Ho Chi Minh City, take National Route 1A heading northwest toward Đồng Tháp Province. After approximately 2.5 hours, you will reach Cao Lãnh City. From there, follow the signs to Mỹ Thọ, which is about a 30-minute drive. You will need to take ĐT850 road that leads directly to Mỹ Thọ. Ensure that you have a GPS or map application handy for the best navigation.
Bus
To travel by bus from Ho Chi Minh City, head to the Mien Tay Bus Station. Purchase a ticket to Cao Lãnh which typically costs around 120,000 to 150,000 VND. The bus ride takes approximately 3-4 hours. Once you arrive at the Cao Lãnh Bus Station, you can take a local taxi or motorbike taxi to Mỹ Thọ, which is about 10 kilometers away. The taxi fare should be between 50,000 to 100,000 VND.
Motorbike
For the more adventurous travelers, renting a motorbike in Ho Chi Minh City is a great option. After renting your motorbike, take National Route 1A toward Đồng Tháp Province. The ride will take around 3 hours. Once you get to Cao Lãnh, continue on ĐT850 road to reach Mỹ Thọ. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic conditions.
