Car
If you are driving from the center of Tam Dao, head southwest on Đà Lạt Street (Đường Đà Lạt) and continue for about 1.5 km. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Đạo Trù. After approximately 1.5 km, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path towards Đạo Trù and continue for another 3 km. You will see a sign for Thác Vĩnh Ninh on your left. Turn left and follow the narrow road for about 500 meters until you reach the waterfall. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Thác Vĩnh Ninh using public transportation, start at the Tam Dao bus station. Take a local bus heading towards Đạo Trù. Confirm with the driver that they will drop you off near Đạo Trù, as some buses may go further. The bus ride typically takes about 20 minutes and costs around 20,000 VND. Once you arrive, you can either walk or take a motorbike taxi to the waterfall, which is approximately 2 km away. Make sure to ask locals for directions to Thác Vĩnh Ninh if needed.
Motorbike Rental
For those seeking a more adventurous route, consider renting a motorbike in Tam Dao. After renting, head southwest on Đà Lạt Street and follow the same route as outlined for cars. This option gives you the flexibility to explore the area at your own pace. Rental costs can vary, but expect to pay around 150,000 to 200,000 VND per day. Ensure you have a valid driver's license and wear a helmet.
