If you're traveling by car and are already on Assateague Island, head towards the Assateague Island National Seashore entrance. After entering the park, continue on the main road (Assateague Drive). Follow the signs for the lighthouse, which is approximately 3 miles from the entrance. As you drive, you’ll pass scenic views of the marsh and wildlife. Once you reach the lighthouse area, there is a parking lot available for visitors. Please note that there may be a parking fee of around $10 per vehicle.

For those who prefer a more active approach, cycling to the Assateague Lighthouse is a great option. You can rent bicycles in Chincoteague Island, then ride towards the Assateague Island National Seashore.
