Bus
From Blacksburg, take the Smart Way Bus from the Blacksburg Transit Center located at 1000 N Main St. Board the bus heading to Roanoke. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the Roanoke Transportation Center. Once you arrive, walk east on Campbell Ave toward 1 Market Square SE. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Center In The Square.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from Blacksburg to Roanoke. Start from the Virginia Tech campus and head south on the Huckleberry Trail which connects to the Roanoke River Greenway. Follow the trail to reach downtown Roanoke. Upon entering downtown, navigate to 1 Market Square SE, which is the location of Center In The Square. The entire trip is around 25 miles and may take approximately 2 hours.

Walking from Blacksburg to Roanoke is not practical due to the distance of about 25 miles. However, if you are already in Roanoke, you can easily walk to Center In The Square from central locations in downtown. For example, if you are at the Roanoke City Market, head southeast on Market St toward 1 Market Square SE. It is about a 5-minute walk.
