Turn left on Prices Fork Road and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Smithfield Plantation Road. Turn right onto Smithfield Plantation Road. Continue walking for approximately 1 mile, and you will see Historic Smithfield on your left at 1000 Smithfield Plantation Rd.

    You can take the Blacksburg Transit bus, route 42, from the downtown area (bus stop at the corner of Draper Road and Washington Street). Board the bus heading towards the Smithfield area. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes, and get off at the 'Smithfield Plantation' stop. From there, it’s a short walk down Smithfield Plantation Road to the entrance of Historic Smithfield.

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike shop or use a bike-sharing service. Start from the downtown area and head north on Draper Road.
