Car
If you are driving to the Virginia State Capitol, start by getting onto I-64 E from your current location in Central Virginia. Follow I-64 E for approximately 10 miles until you reach exit 190 for Broad St. Merge onto Broad St and continue for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto 9th St, then take the first right onto Bank St. The Virginia State Capitol will be on your left at 1000 Bank St, Richmond, VA 23218. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for potential fees ranging from $1 to $3 per hour depending on the location.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the GRTC Pulse bus service. Locate the nearest Pulse bus stop in Central Virginia and board the bus heading towards the Main Street Station. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the Broad & 9th St stop. From there, walk two blocks south on 9th St, and turn right onto Bank St. The Virginia State Capitol will be on your left. A one-way fare on the GRTC Pulse is $1.50.
