Continue straight for about 1.5 miles, and you'll arrive at the Leander McCormick Observatory located at 600 McCormick Rd. Be cautious on the road as you share it with vehicles.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, start from the downtown area and head southwest on East Main Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with McCormick Road. Turn left onto McCormick Road and follow it for approximately 1.5 miles. The Leander McCormick Observatory will be on your left at 600 McCormick Rd. This walk is about 30 minutes and provides a nice view of the surrounding area.
