Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Annapolis. From downtown Annapolis, take Route 50 East towards the Bay Bridge. Once on Route 50, take the exit for Route 665 (also known as the Sandy Point State Park exit). Follow the signs for Sandy Point State Park. You'll arrive at the park entrance located at 1100 E College Pkwy, Annapolis, MD 21409. Please note that there is an entry fee for vehicles, typically around $3 to $5 depending on the time of year.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking the MARC Train from Washington D.C. or Baltimore to the Annapolis station. Once you arrive at the Annapolis train station, you can take a local bus (Route 70) towards Sandy Point State Park. The bus will drop you off near the park entrance. Ensure to check the MARC Train and local bus schedules ahead of your visit as they may vary. The bus fare is approximately $1.50 one way.
