Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Colonial National Historical Park, start by heading towards the Colonial Williamsburg area. The George Wythe House is located at 101 Palace Green St, Williamsburg, VA 23185. From the visitor center, take Francis Street west until you reach North Boundary Street. Turn left onto North Boundary Street, then take another left onto Palace Green Street. The George Wythe House will be on your right. There is limited street parking available nearby, so be mindful of parking regulations.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority (WATA) bus service. Board the bus at any of the designated stops in Colonial National Historical Park heading towards the Colonial Williamsburg area. Get off at the stop nearest to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to the George Wythe House. Head south on North Henry Street, turn left onto Francis Street, and then turn right onto Palace Green Street. The house will be on your left. Please check the WATA schedule for any costs associated with your bus ride.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from a nearby location within Colonial National Historical Park, start from the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center. Exit the center and head south on North Henry Street. Continue straight until you reach Francis Street, then make a left turn. Walk down Francis Street until you reach Palace Green Street, then take a right. The George Wythe House will be located on your left at 101 Palace Green St. The walk is approximately 0.6 miles and will take about 15-20 minutes.
