Continue on VA-58 for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-21. Turn left onto US-21 South. After approximately 3 miles, turn right onto Hurricane Camp Road. Continue on Hurricane Camp Road for about 1 mile, and you will arrive at Hurricane Campground, located at 2021 Hurricane, Camp Rd, Sugar Grove, VA 24375. There is no fee for parking at the campground.

    Public Transportation + Taxi

    If you are using public transportation, the nearest bus service is in Marion, VA. From Marion, you can take a bus to the nearest larger town, which is Abingdon, VA. From Abingdon, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you directly to Hurricane Campground. Be sure to confirm with the taxi service that they can take you to the campground, as some may not service rural areas. Expect taxi fares to range from $30 to $60, depending on the distance and service provider.
