If you're traveling by car from Greater Richmond Region to George Washington's Mount Vernon, start by getting onto I-95 N from your location. Continue on I-95 N for about 75 miles. Take exit 160B to merge onto I-495 N toward Silver Spring. After about 8 miles, take exit 173B for George Washington Parkway toward Mt Vernon. Continue on George Washington Parkway for approximately 8 miles. Follow signs for Mount Vernon, and then take a left onto Mount Vernon Memorial Highway. The entrance to George Washington's Mount Vernon will be on your right at 3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Hwy, Mt Vernon, VA 22121. Note that there is a parking fee of $10 per car.
