If you're driving from Virginia Beach, take I-264 W toward Norfolk. Continue on I-264 W and take exit 9 for Granby St. Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto Granby St. Continue on Granby St until you reach Duke St. Turn left onto Duke St, and you will find The Allmand-Archer House at 327 Duke St, Norfolk, VA 23510. Parking is available on the street, but be sure to check for any parking meters or restrictions.
Public Transportation (Bus)
For public transportation, you can take the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) bus. From the Virginia Beach area, take the #20 or #21 bus toward Norfolk. Get off at the Granby St & Duke St stop. From there, walk south on Granby St, then turn left onto Duke St. The Allmand-Archer House is located at 327 Duke St. The bus fare is approximately $1.50, and make sure to check the latest bus schedule for timing.
Public Transportation (Light Rail)
Another option is the Tide Light Rail. If you are near a Tide station, board the light rail heading toward Norfolk. Get off at the MacArthur Square Station. From the station, walk east on E City Hall Ave, then turn left onto Granby St. Continue walking until you reach Duke St, then turn right onto Duke St. The Allmand-Archer House will be at 327 Duke St. The fare for the light rail is also approximately $1.50.
