    Car

    To reach Ambler Mansion Ruins by car, start from the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center at 101 Visitor Center Drive, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Head southwest on Visitor Center Drive toward US-60 W. Merge onto US-60 W. Continue on US-60 W for approximately 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Island Drive. The Ambler Mansion Ruins will be located on your right. There is no admission fee to access the ruins, but parking is available along the road.

    Public Transportation + Walking

    If you are traveling via public transportation, take the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority (WATA) bus to the nearest stop. Board the bus at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center and take the Route 1 bus towards the High Street area. Get off at the stop that is closest to the intersection of US-60 and Island Drive. From there, it is a short 0.5-mile walk to the Ambler Mansion Ruins. Head west on Island Drive, and you will arrive at the ruins. Make sure to check the WATA schedule for the most current bus timings as they vary throughout the day.
