If you're driving, start by entering W Duke of Gloucester St from your current location in Historic Triangle. If you're near Colonial Williamsburg, simply follow the signs toward the historic area. The Capitol is located directly along this street. Look for the address W Duke of Gloucester St, Williamsburg, VA 23185. There is parking available nearby, but it can fill up quickly, so plan to arrive early.
Public Transportation
To reach the Capitol using public transportation, head to the nearest bus stop that services the Colonial Williamsburg area. The Williamsburg Area Transit Authority (WATA) operates buses that connect to the historic sites. You can take the bus that goes to the historic area and get off at the stop closest to W Duke of Gloucester St. From there, it's a short walk to the Capitol, which is well-signposted in the area.
Walking
If you find yourself close to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center, you can walk to the Capitol. From the Visitor Center, head south on Richmond Rd toward W Duke of Gloucester St. Turn left onto W Duke of Gloucester St and continue walking straight. The Capitol will be on your left side, just a few minutes' walk from the Visitor Center.
