Car
If you are driving from Williamsburg, start by getting onto I-64 W from Duke of Gloucester St. Follow I-64 W and merge onto I-295 N toward Richmond. After about 20 miles, merge onto I-95 N toward Washington. Continue for approximately 25 miles and take exit 152 for US-1 N toward Quantico. Stay on US-1 N for about 9 miles, then turn left onto Jefferson Davis Hwy (US-1). Continue on Jefferson Davis Hwy for about 1 mile until you reach Timothy T. Day Overlook, which will be on the right. There is no admission fee for the overlook.
Public Transportation (Bus & Walk)
If you're using public transportation, from Williamsburg, take a Greyhound or Megabus to the Woodbridge, VA bus station. Once you arrive, you can take the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) train from Woodbridge to Quantico Station. From Quantico Station, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach Timothy T. Day Overlook. To get there, head southwest on Potomac Ave, turn left onto Jefferson Davis Hwy (US-1), and continue for about 0.75 miles. The overlook will be on your right. Make sure to check the VRE schedule in advance and also verify the bus services from Williamsburg as they may have specific operating hours.
