From Luray Caverns, exit the parking lot and turn left onto US-211 W. Continue on US-211 W for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with US-340 S. Turn left onto US-340 S. After approximately 1.5 miles, look for the entrance to Shenandoah National Park on your right at the Thornton Gap entrance. There is an entrance fee of $30 per vehicle, valid for 7 days. Once inside the park, continue along Skyline Drive for about 10 miles. Look for the signs for Hemlock Springs Overlook; it will be on your left. Parking is available at the overlook.
