If you are near downtown Lynchburg, start at the Lynchburg Community Market located at 1219 Main St, Lynchburg, VA 24504. From the market, head west on Main St toward 12th St. Continue on Main St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 5th St. Turn left onto 5th St and then take the second right onto Clay St. Follow Clay St as it becomes Old Langhorne Rd. Continue on Old Langhorne Rd for approximately 1.5 miles. The Awareness Garden will be on your left at 1700 Old Langhorne Rd.
Public Transport
Begin your journey at the nearest bus stop to your location. You can catch the Hill City Express (Route 2) at any of the designated stops. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Old Langhorne Rd and Langhorne Rd (approx. 25 minutes). Once you exit the bus, walk along Old Langhorne Rd for about 0.5 miles. The Awareness Garden will be on your right at 1700 Old Langhorne Rd.
Biking
If you have a bike, you can start from the Blackwater Creek Trail. Bike along the trail until you reach the point where it intersects with Langhorne Rd. Head east on Langhorne Rd for about 1.5 miles until you reach Old Langhorne Rd. Turn left onto Old Langhorne Rd and continue for about 0.5 miles. The Awareness Garden will be on your left at 1700 Old Langhorne Rd.
