Walking
If you are in the Central Business District of Lynchburg, start at the intersection of Main Street and 9th Street. Head south on 9th Street until you reach Church Street. Turn left onto Church Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with 12th Street. Turn right onto 12th Street, and you will see the entrance to the Lynchburg trail system on your left after a short walk. Look for the signs indicating the trail entrance.
Biking
Begin your journey at the Lynchburg Community Market located at 1219 Main St. Rent a bike from a local shop if you don’t have one. From the market, head east on Main Street and then take a left onto 9th Street. Continue south until you reach Church Street. Turn left onto Church Street, and then right onto 12th Street. The entrance to the Lynchburg trail system will be on your left shortly after the turn.
Public Transportation
If you are near the Central Bus Station at 900 Church St, take the bus that routes toward the area closest to the Lynchburg trail system. You can check the local bus schedule (Lynchburg Transit) for the most appropriate route. Disembark at the stop nearest to 12th Street, and from there, walk south along 12th Street to find the entrance to the trail system on your left.
