If you're starting from downtown Lynchburg, head east on Main Street toward 9th Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Church Street, then turn left onto Church Street. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 5th Street. Turn right onto 5th Street and continue for another 0.4 miles. You will then arrive at the intersection with Memorial Avenue. Cross Memorial Avenue, and the Sandusky Park entrance will be ahead on Rhonda Road. The park is located at 5805 Rhonda Rd.

If you prefer public transportation, you can catch the local bus (Lynchburg Transit). Find the nearest bus stop in downtown Lynchburg and take the bus route that goes towards the Rt. 221 area. Make sure to check the current schedule for the bus that stops closest to Sandusky Park. Depending on the route, you may need to transfer at one of the central stops to get on a bus heading towards 5th Street or Memorial Avenue. Once you get off, walk towards Rhonda Road, and you will find the park entrance.
