Walking
If you are starting from downtown Lynchburg, head east on Main Street towards 9th Street. Continue straight on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 5th Street. Turn left onto 5th Street and walk for another 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.3 miles, and you will see a pedestrian bridge on your right that crosses over the James River. Cross the bridge. After crossing, continue straight onto Hollins Mill Road. Follow Hollins Mill Road for approximately 1 mile. Hollins Mill Park will be on your right at 521 Hollins Mill Rd.

From the Lynchburg Transit Company (LTC) bus terminal, take the Route 5 bus towards the Hill City. Get off at the stop near 5th Street and Main Street (about a 10-minute ride). From there, walk east on Main Street towards 9th Street. Continue straight on Main Street for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto 5th Street. Walk for another 0.2 miles until you reach Church Street, then turn right onto Church Street. Continue straight, cross the pedestrian bridge over the James River, and follow Hollins Mill Road for about 1 mile until you see Hollins Mill Park on your right at 521 Hollins Mill Rd.
