    If you are starting from downtown Lynchburg, head east on Main Street towards 9th Street. Continue straight on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 5th Street. Turn left onto 5th Street and walk for another 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.3 miles, and you will see a pedestrian bridge on your right that crosses over the James River. Cross the bridge. After crossing, continue straight onto Hollins Mill Road. Follow Hollins Mill Road for approximately 1 mile. Hollins Mill Park will be on your right at 521 Hollins Mill Rd.
