If you are starting from downtown Lynchburg, head east on Main Street towards 9th Street. Continue straight on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 5th Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.3 miles, and you will see a pedestrian bridge on your right that crosses over the James River. Cross the bridge.
