Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in downtown Lynchburg, start your journey at the Historic Courthouse at 901 Church St. Walk south on Church St until you reach 9th St. Turn left onto 9th St and continue walking until you reach Main St. Turn right onto Main St and walk until you reach the intersection with 3rd St. Here, turn left onto 3rd St. Continue on 3rd St for about 0.5 miles. You will then want to turn right onto Grove St. The Nature Zone will be located on your left side at 301 Grove St.

    From the Lynchburg City Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 900 Church St. Board the 'Route 3 - Miller Park' bus. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes, and get off at the 'Miller Park' stop. After disembarking, walk east on Grove St for about 5 minutes until you reach The Nature Zone at 301 Grove St.

    If you are biking, start at the Blackwater Creek Trail.
