If you are driving from anywhere in the Middle Peninsula, you will want to take US-17 South towards Virginia Beach. After approximately 25 miles, merge onto I-64 East toward Norfolk. Continue on I-64 for about 55 miles. Take exit 284B for US-58 E toward Virginia Beach. Follow signs for Virginia Beach and merge onto S Independence Blvd. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with 2nd St. Turn left onto 2nd St and you will find Grommet Island Park at the intersection with the Boardwalk.
